We are proud to unveil the ROCOCO COLLECTION 2012, a collection inspired by remarkable architects and their famous works. Architecture has always been a topic of great interest for the designer. Jorge Manuel has been fortunate enough to have traveled the world and witnessed many of the amazing projects of the famous architects that his gowns in this collection are now named after.

Architecture dates as far back as the first traces of human existence. In itself, architecture serves as pages that record our advancement in culture as a human race: the Mesopotamian Empire being the earliest signs of such amazing architecture, followed by the Egyptians, the Greeks and the Romans. There is a timeless beauty in architecture and Jorge Manuel knew the same would apply to the bridal dress.

The ROCOCO COLLECTION 2012, so named after the architectural art form, is a gala of a more simple style of detailed beauty. “The Rococo era in Paris, France became a time of rebellion against the grandeur design of the symmetrical Baroque. It was a time where designed became part of an editing process that brought balance into a world with too much design," explains Jorge Manuel. "I designed a collection for the bride who wants to be timeless, yet beautifully unique. I chose, what to me, is a perfect balance of styles among the old and the current architects of time. In doing so, I feel like the ROCOCO Collection caters to all tastes and style. ”

Jorge Manuel's design philosophy, particularly in this collection, calls for the utmost in individuality and attention to detail, while retaining the timeless, classic look of the well-dressed bride.

In a time where bridal has become heavily saturated with the same style of design in bridal gowns, Jorge Manuel brings to life a collection that is fresh and bold, yet timeless and chic. It is a collection that speaks to the bride who truly wants “that something different in her dress!” The ROCOCO COLLECTION 2012.
